‘Knock, knock’ ‘Who’s there?’ ‘Oh ****!’

NUTLEY –
A Franklin Ave. resident can consider himself lucky that a burglar armed with a pry bar was the nonconfrontational type, authorities reported.
According to police, the incident played out at about 1:30 p.m. last Wednesday at an apartment on Franklin near Albany Ave. when the resident heard someone apparently trying to open his door. Suddenly, that door crashed open, to reveal the intruder holding the metal bar.
“Oh, s**t!” the burglar said, when he saw that the place was occupied.  He then fled down the stairs, ran north on Franklin and jumped into a late-model blue Lexus, police said.
The intruder was described as a  bald white male, approximately 5-foot-10 and 200 lbs.
