How not to rob a bank

Not that we’re speaking from personal experience, but it seems that, if one intended to rob a bank, one would get in and get out as fast as possible without calling undue attention to oneself.
One would not hang around outside – wearing a wacky-looking wig and dark glasses.
But that, police said, is exactly what a Bloomfield man did last Wednesday morning, frightening at least one witness, who called the cops, who arrested the guy.
According to Nutley Det. Anthony Montanari, an anonymous caller alerted police shortly after 8 a.m., Aug. 10, that a suspicious man was sitting on the steps near an emergency exit at the rear of the  Chase bank on Centre St.
