Readers’ Theater presents ‘Mary’s Wedding’

The Readers’ Theater group of Nutley Little Theatre will present the romantic drama, “Mary’s Wedding,” by Stephen Massicotte, on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2 p.m., at the NLT Barn, 47 Erie Place, Nutley.

Admission is free and open to the public. The Readers’ Theater Series features actors reading scripts of new and established plays, supplementing Nutley Little Theatre’s regular, fully staged performances.

“Mary’s Wedding” is a memory play by award-winning Canadian playwright Stephen Massicotte, about a young girl who dreams about her lover just before her wedding to another man. The time is World War I and the locales are Canada and the battlefields of Europe.

Nutley Little Theatre stages its productions at the NLT Barn, 47 Erie Place, Nutley, located off Brookfield Avenue (one block east of Franklin Avenue) in the heart of the Erie Place Historic District.
