Robert E. Gorski

Robert E. Gorski, 63 died on Thursday, Nov. 1, at his home in Kearny. Arrangements were by the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. The funeral service was held in the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.thiele-reid. com.

Mr. Gorski was born in Jersey City and has lived in Kearny for the last 32 years.

He served in the Army during Vietnam.

Robert was employed as a manager for the U.S. Postal Service in South Kearny for 42 years retiring two years ago.

He is survived by his wife Janet (Bowman); children Robert E. and Keli Gorski; his mother Jean (Kuzminski) Gorski; brothers Gary and Edward Gorski and his granddaughter Leah Alves.

Victor I. Nunez

Victor I. Nunez died on Nov. 2 in Hackensack Medical Center. He was 64. Born in Peru, he lived in Kearny for the past 35 years.

Victor is survived by his mother Josefa, his children Victor and Lauren and his siblings Olger, Jorge, Edward, Victor, Manuel, Jorge, Carlos and Gloria Nunez.

Gloria Woods

Gloria Woods (nee Dalto) of Kearny died on Oct. 28 at the home of her son John. She was 77.

Gloria was an assistant manager at the Ben Franklin Store in Kearny for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Stephens Church in Kearny.

Wife of the late Jack Woods and sister of the late Rita Nazzaro and Frank Dalto, she is survived by her sons John and Jim and her grandchildren Sabrina, Kat, Sarah and April.
