Geraldine Baker

Geraldine Baker, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Jan. 3, at Meridian Sub-Acute Healthcare, in Wall Township.

Born in Kearny, she was a lifelong resident of Harrison.

Geraldine worked for Calvin Klein Fragrances for 10 years; she also worked for RCA, Harrison, as a mounter for 40 years. She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church, Harrison. Geraldine enjoyed life to its fullest.

She is survived by her goddaughters Jan and Joy Meyer and by her many loving friends. Gerri will also be greatly missed by her adopted nieces and nephews.

The funeral was conducted from the Mulligan Funeral home 331 Cleveland Ave., Harrison, on Friday, Jan. 18. A funeral Mass was held at Holy Cross Church. Antoinette De Araujo

Antoinette (nee Politi) De Araujo, 69, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Jan. 18.

Born in Newark, she was a lifelong resident of Kearny.

Funeral services were under the direction of the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave., Harrison. A funeral Mass was held at St. Cecilia’s Church, Kearny, on Tuesday, Jan. 22. Antoinette worked for Nanel Inc., Kearny as a data entry clerk, retiring in 2000. Prior to that she worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Newark, as a data entry clerk until 1991. She was a parishioner of St. Cecilia’s Church, Kearny. Antoinette greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husband, Joseph (2002), she is survived by her son Paul De Araujo, her daughters Rose Ann Calabro and her husband Anthony, Jo Ann De Araujo and Michelle Borquist and her husband Mark, four grandchildren Anthony and Nicole Calabro and Alyssa and Amber Borquist.

She was also an aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Lindsay Gray

Lindsay Gray died on Jan. 13 at home. She was 30. Born in Belleville, she lived in Kearny before moving to Morris Plains four years ago.

Arrangements were by Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home, Kearny. A funeral Mass was held in St. Cecilia’s Church, Kearny, followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. To leave an online condolence, please visit www.armitagewiggins.com.

Lindsay earned a B.A. from Rowan University and was employed as a Trooper for The N.J. State Police in Totowa. She was an avid Rangers fan, loved the beach and concerts and especially children. Once you met Lindsay you met a friend for life. She bravely fought to recover from a brain tumor and was so proud to have returned to work. During the last three years she has worked tirelessly to raise over $40,000 for The National Brain Tumor Society.

She is survived by her loving companion Dave Kosakowski, her parents Diane (nee Durning) and Michael Gray, her grandmother Sheila McGarril Gray, her brother Andrew, 18 aunts and uncles and 27 cherished cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents James and Lily Durning and John Gray.

Paul McNabb

Paul McNabb of Kearny entered into rest on Jan. 6. He was 60.

Paul was a graduate of Queen of Peace High School and was a truck driver for over 40 years, retiring from Gold Coast Freightways, Inc.

He loved life and his family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Francis McNabb, He was a beloved father to Ryann McNabb, Carly McNabb and beloved brother to Barbara and Jim, Jim McNabb, Brian McNabb, Frank and Janine and several nieces, nephews, a grandniece and many close friends. He will be greatly missed and memories of him will be kept in our hearts forever. Rest in Peace Daddy. A private service was scheduled.
