Coming up in the March 13 edition of The Observer, there’s a lot of news about fires and fire departments.

Our Ron Leir reports on a major fire that hit Harrison over the weekend and that sent five Jersey City firefighters to hospital with injuries.

Also in this week’s edition, Karen Zautyk takes a look at a recent fire in the Meadowlands and how it affects local landfills.

Plus, find out who the Kearny firefighter and police officer of the year are, how the feds nixed money for the Kearny Fire Department and Jim Hague’s sports.

You’ll find all of this and more, only in this week’s edition of The Observer.
