Henryka Milewska Grygielko, of Tinton Falls, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 16. She was 90.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave., Harrison. A funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Harrison. Her interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

Born in Stolpce, Bielorussia (Belarus), she immigrated to North Arlington in 1979 before moving to Tinton Falls in 2005.

Henryka is survived by her loving daughters Irene Bishop and Teresa Kociecka, her cherished grandchildren Heather Bishop, Antoni and Pszemek Milewski, Pawel and Jacek Kociecki, and her cousin, Ambassador Kosowicz of Los Angeles. She is also survived by her dear sister Helena Krasowska.

She was predeceased by her husband Antoni Grygielko (2002), her daughter Barbara Choinski (2014) and her son Antoni Milewski (1992).

Helen T. Kurszwicz

Helen T. Kurszwicz (nee Swarbrick) died April 19 at St. Michael’s Medical Center, Newark. She was 95.

Born in East Newark, she lived most of her life in Kearny.

Arrangements were by the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. A funeral Mass was held at St. Stephen’s Church, Kearny, and burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. To read more about Helen’s life, please visit www.armitagewiggins.net.

Helen was active with St. Stephen’s Church and had been the assistant tax collector in Kearny.

Wife of the late John Kurszwicz, she is survived by her daughters and their husbands Karen and Richard Polanski and Joan and Bill Gerbasio. Also surviving her are her grandchildren Jennifer, John and Jaime and her great-granddaughter Abigail.

Dorothy Neetz 

Dorothy Neetz, 92, of Toms River, passed away peacefully at home on April 24 with her loved ones, Dorothy and Michael Quinn, by her side.

Born in Pittston, Pa., she lived for many years in Harrison before moving to Toms River.

She was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and caring for her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Neetz in 1973, her son, Joseph, and daughter, Carol.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Michael Quinn of Toms River, two grandchildren, Zachary and Jedediah, two great-grandchildren, sister Ann, brother Tom and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving her are the two family pets (golden retrievers) Mookie and Vinny.

She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

A memorial Mass will be offered Saturday, May 2, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Berkeley Township.

Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, Toms River, is in charge of the arrangements.

Robert J. Rawding 

Robert J. Rawding died April 20. He was 90.

Born in Newark, he lived mostly in North Arlington.

Arrangements were by Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home, (www.armitagewiggins. com) 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. A Masonic service was held at the funeral home, followed by a private cremation.

Robert was a professional mechanical engineer for both Delta and Hallam Engineering. He was a very involved mason, having been past master of North Arlington Lodge 271, past grand chaplain and currently a member of Adoniram Lodge 80, F&AM. He also had a strong passion for gardening.

Beloved husband for 60 years to Janette (nee MacDonald), he is also survived by his children and their spouses Ernest and Lucille Rawding, Glen and Kathleen Rawding and Sharon and John Vernacchia; his grandchildren Ryan (Tricia), Sean, Alexandra and Piper; and his great-grandchildren Declan and Lochlan. He was predeceased by his brother Emerson and sister Jean Nichols.
