Job Haines Home, 250 Bloomfield Ave., is offering a free educational program on sleep apnea on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. sleep apnea is a condition that causes people to stop breathing while they sleep. Dr. Lopa Patel, who has an office located in Montclair, will lead the discussion. Her practice specializes in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Medicine and Internal Medicine.
Older adults who have sleep apnea often go undiagnosed or are diagnosed having a snoring problem.
