Moving from law to real estate with Coccia

Dominick Gratale, who has spent the last decade and a half practicing law, primarily in New York City, has joined Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Coccia Realty’s Secaucus office as a sales agent, the company’s president and owner, Jan R. Kwapniewski, announced.

Gratale, a resident of Secaucus, is a 2000 graduate of Seton Hall University’s School of Law, was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2001 and has been a licensed realtor in New Jersey for many years. He has a working knowledge of both German and Mandarin Chinese.

“We are thrilled Dominick has decided to work from our Secaucus office,” Kwapniewski said. “We believe that his background in law will be a tremendous asset. As a resident of Secaucus, he has an intimate knowledge of the town — and that’s such a great quality to have in an agent. He knows the town because he chooses to live there and to sell there.”

Gratale said, “As a practicing attorney for the past 15-plus years, I have a proven track record of negotiating the terms and conditions of contracts for the sale, purchase and leasing of real estate in New York and New Jersey — and internationally in both Europe and Asia.” He noted that he chose to pursue real estate sales “as a natural complement” to his law practice.

Gratale has lived in both Harmon Cove I and Harmon Cove Towers. He specializes in residential condos, single-family and multi-family dwellings and investment properties in Secaucus and the surrounding areas.

Gratale can be reached at BHGRE Coccia Realty Secaucus, 5 Harmon Cove Tower, at 201-867-2100 or by email at dominick.gratale@mycoccia.com.
