Blood Pressure/health risk assessment is held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, from 1 to 2:45 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

“Balancing Act: Fall Prevention and Balancing Tips & Tricks” is a free Lunch and Learn program, offered in conjunction with Clara Maass Medical Center, Thursday, Oct. 11, beginning at noon, at the Senior Center, rear of the Health Department at 10 Beaver Ave.  Learn how to reduce your chances of falling and improve your overall balance.  Open to surrounding communities; must register to attend.

Evening Flu Clinic is offered Tuesday, Oct. 16, 6 to 7 p.m., at the North Arlington Health Department, 10 Beaver Ave.  The vaccine is offered free of charge for those covered by traditional Medicare Part B.  Medicare card must be presented at the time of immunization.  There will be a $20 fee for those not covered by Medicare.  By appointment only; Call 201-955-5695.  Daytime hours are also available by appointment.
