The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office has ordered a public auction of confiscated sports memorabilia on Saturday, May 3, at the Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute, Hall of Heroes Auditorium, 281 Campgaw Road, Mahwah.

Included in the auction are the following items

Signed baseballs and baseball bats;

Signed baseball and tobacco cards, postcards and index cards;

Framed and matted photographs, plaques and lithographs;

Cancelled checks, handwritten notes, letters and commemorative envelopes;

Black & white, sepia and color photo prints;

Jackets, hats, tins and general merchandise;

Vintage programs, yearbooks, magazines and newspapers; and

Contracts, ticket stubs and other items of interest.

Items will be available for preview at 9 a.m. on May 3, and the auction begins at 11 a.m.   An auction catalogue of over 250 lots will be offered. Also, web-simulcast bidding will be available for those who cannot attend the event.
