Official: Crash ‘looked a lot worse than it was’

If you were stuck in traffic on the Belleville Pike, or Kearny Ave., or Ridge Road, or surrounding streets, during Friday morning’s rush hour, this was the reason. At 8:25 a.m., a car and an NJ Transit bus collided on Kearny Ave. near the former Lincoln Theater. Police said there were minor injuries to two bus passengers, but apparently the crash ‘looked a lot worse than it was.’ Not so for the traffic jams; they were as bad as they looked. Continue Reading
