BCPO: 4 Belleville cops arrested in North Arlington

Four Belleville police officers were among five men arrested Monday, Dec. 5, in the aftermath of a fight at a North Arlington bar on Oct. 21. Police Officers John Clarizio, 32, of Nutley, was charged with simple assault and hindering apprehension; Marco Zarfino, 24, of Belleville, was charged with two counts of simple assault; Jesse McKeough, 28, of Belleville, was charged with simple assault; and Giovanni Casillo, 39, of Wayne, was charged with simple assault. Official OK granted to keep QPHS open

Queen of Peace High School, which had been slated to close at the end of June because of declining enrollment and sagging finances in recent years, will now open for the 2016-2017 academic year, the Most Rev. John J. Myers, archbishop of Newark, announced Thursday, July 21. The Rev.
