A physician from Kearny who had a practice in Belleville has died from COVID-19 complications, a funeral home in Bloomfield in charge of his arrangements said.
Francis T. Molinari, M.D., died April 9, 2020.
He was 70.
Dr. Molinari was born in Newark and spent his young life in Bloomfield before moving to Kearny in 1994.
He was a physician in the internal medicine field for over 40 years.
He worked at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford as a physician, worked for the County of Hudson for the past 30 years, from which he retired 2018. He also had a private practice in Belleville and was on the medical staff at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville.
In his spare time, Dr. Molinari loved spending time at the cigar lounge, fishing and loved listening to music and reading.
The husband of Lorraine Kwiatkowski Molinari, he was the father to Andrea Molinari Burke and her husband Thomas Burke Jr., brother to Albert Molinari, Lisa Molinari and Janice Molinari and her spouse Marguerite Smith, the son of the late Frank and Fannie Molinari and the brother-in-law to the Rev. Richard Kwiatkowski.
A private wake will be conducted at the O’Boyle Funeral home in Bloomfield. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. There will be a celebration of his life at a future date.
