HCCC’s fall open house is Saturday, Oct. 23

Hudson County Community College hosts its fall open house Saturday, Oct. 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the new HCCC Student Center, 81 Sip Ave., Jersey City, just across the street from the Journal Square PATH Transportation Center.

Attendees will be able to explore the college’s academic and student-related offerings, meet faculty, alumni and staff and tour the HCCC Journal Square campus. Chefs from the college’s Culinary Arts Institute will conduct cooking demonstrations. Students and staff will provide information about free resources for academic and personal success.

The college’s financial aid counselors will furnish information about the New Jersey Community College Opportunity Grant’s free tuition program, as well a variety of scholarships. Enrollment advisers will assist with completing the online application, and the $25 application fee will be waived for those who apply that day.
