The Borough of North Arlington has experienced an increase in thefts from unlocked vehicles overnight and the police are reminding residents never to leave car doors unlocked. The PD says criminals are rummaging through the interior for valuables such as keys, change, cell phones, head phones and other valuable items. Do not leave keys in vehicles and do not leave vehicles running unattended. Immediately report suspicious activity to the North Arlington Police Department by calling (201) 991-4400, ext. 0
