Since the Kearny senior citizen jitney buses are suspended until further notice, the Kearny Board of Health is assisting seniors who otherwise have no modes of transport to get their groceries, Council President Carol Jean Doyle told The Observer this afternoon.
Senior citizens should call Nellie Albizu at the Kearny Health Department at (201) 997-0600 to make arrangements.
