The Kearny Food Pantry Network, at the First Presbyterian Church, is in need of donations of the following items this week: pancake mix, pancake syrup, canned pasta (like Spaghettios/Chef Boyardee), canned chili and canned fruit. Please call Melanie Pasquarelli at (201) 772-8107 to arrange drop off, which would take place at the Kearny Elks, 601 Elm St., Kearny. The pantry disburses food each Friday, at 663 Kearny Ave., from 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
