John Bouquet
John Bouquet of Harrison died Nov. 24, 2018, after a short illness.
He was 80.
Funeral services were under the direction of the Mulligan Funeral Home, Harrison. His ashes will be entombed at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
John was a Cold War veteran who served in the United States Army for three years. He was honorably discharged in 1965 and was very proud of his service to our country.
John was predeceased by his long-time companion Helen Mianecki, of Harrison; his parents Joseph and Mae Bouquet; a sister Florence; and his brother Joseph. He is survived by Helen’s daughters Regina Goham and Marcella Doonan; and grandchildren Lisa White, Linda Eosso, Stephen Goham, Debbie Doonan, Patty Forsberg and Barbara Caprara. John also leaves behind a multitude of loved nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and great-grandchildren.
John was a kind, caring man. He was a history buff who loved to read, and he loved all things electronic and innovative. John loved Christmas, as well as spending time with family, and most especially, all of his family’s children. He had a good sense of humor and was a very generous man. He will be dearly missed.

Louis S. Carpenetti
Louis S. Carpenetti of Harrison, formerly of Mocanaqua, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018.
He was 92.
Funeral services were under the direction of Mulligan Funeral Home, Harrison. Following a funeral Mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Harrison, Louis was interred in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mocanaqua, Pennsylvania.
Louis is survived by his daughter Diane Carpenetti Sullivan; son-in-law, Lawrence Sullivan; and grandchildren, Louis, Adam and Emily. Louis was predeceased by his wife Christine Carpenetti (nee- Yaszczemski) and siblings Rita Zagata, Daniel Carpenetti and Theresa Decarsky.
He is survived by his sister Martha Maddox, and brothers Albert Carpenetti and John Carpenetti. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Louis served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a recipient of several medals of honor including the Purple Heart. He was the owner-operator of Able Doors Overhead Door Company and also worked at the Cookie Factory.

Donald P. Clark
Donald P. Clark of Kearny, formerly of Harrison, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, after a short illness.
He was 58.
A memorial gathering took place Friday, Nov. 30, 2018 at Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave., Harrison. A memorial service took place during gathering at the funeral home.
Born in Newark, he was raised and lived most of his life in Harrison, before moving to Kearny two years ago.
He worked for All Seasons Movers, Inc., Kearny, for the last 20+ years. Prior to that, he worked for Kelly Movers, Inc., Linden. When he lived in Spokane, Washington, for a short period of time, he worked as a vehicle detailer. He was a bartender at the Harrison/East Newark Elks for many years as a second job.
He is survived by his wife Michelle; his children Joshua Clark, Kelly Mooney and Christopher Clark; his grandson Michael Clark; and his siblings Melissa Timmons, John Clark, Richard Clark and Katherine Doffont.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his sister Veronica Maiorana (September 2018) and his son, Timothy Clark (May 2018).

Irene R. Evans
Irene R. Evans (nee Roginski) died Nov. 30, 2018, at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville.
She was 88.
A funeral service will take place at the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave., Harrison, on Thursday, Dec. 6, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Rudolf Zubik officiating. Viewing hours will be begin Thursday at 9 a.m. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
Born in Kearny, Irene lived most of her life in Harrison before moving to North Arlington. She worked for Bloomfield College, Bloomfield, as an administrative assistant.
Irene was predeceased by her parents Russell and Pauline Jackson; her husband Donald Evans (2004); her son William Evans (2005); and her sisters Eleanor Roginski and Marie Wojcik.

Margaret E. Osborne
Margaret E. Osborne of Harrison died peacefully Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018.
She was 84.
The funeral was conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, Harrison. A funeral Mass followed at Holy Cross Church, Harrison.
Born in Newark, she lived in East Newark before moving to Harrison.
Margaret worked for Siemens Medical Systems, Iselin, as a food service manager for 13 years. Prior to that, she worked at Amerada Hess, Woodbridge, for many years.
Predeceased by her husband, Lawrence G. Osborne (1994), Margaret is survived by her daughters, Margaret and Patricia Osborne and a son, Larry and his Fiancé (Maria); siblings Helen Jeffers and Eileen Schimenti; her loving grandchildren Ryan Concord, Robert Dosil, Christopher Dosil (predeceased), Amanda, Lauren and Samantha Osborne; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary Casey and sister Dolores Padaviano.

Manuel Silva
Manuel Silva of Kearny, formerly of Newark, died Nov. 29, 2018.
He was 85.
Private arrangements were by the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, Kearny.
Mr. Silva had been a laborer for P. Pepe and Sons in Newark.
He was the brother of Mary Ann Silva, Joseph Silva and the-late Rosemarie Klossek, Peter, Anthony and Frank Silva.
