The Borough of East Newark and Mayor Dina M. Grilo host a community resource day for West Hudson residents Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Borough Hall, 34 Sherman Ave.
Residents will be able to learn about:
— Free Rabies vaccines
— Free boxed food
— Registering a business or trade name
— Registering to vote
— Apply for veterans and county IDs, passports and notary services.
— How to get a COVID-19 vaccine
— Free career services available
— PSE&G assistance
— Medical programs
— Food assistance.
Additionally, members of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office and Prosecutor’s Office will be on hand.
East Newark residents will be able to pick up a parking permit or a doc license and will be able to find out about how to become a volunteer member of the Fire Department.
