A story in last week’s Observer about the gun buyback to be held in Hudson County noted that, by press time, the N.J. Attorney General’s Office had not responded to phone inquiries as to why there would be no collection site in West Hudson. Subsequently, we received an email from a spokesman for the AG, which stated: “In each of the buybacks we’ve done around the state — including this latest one planned for next month in Union and Hudson counties — the actual host locations are recommended by county and local officials.”
