Devils’ legend Ken Daneyko visits Clara Maass for dedication

In support of the NHL’s annual Hockey Fights Cancer initiative, the New Jersey Devils contributed to the renovation of Belleville’s Clara Maass Medical Center’s Infusion Center by generously donating proceeds from Hockey Fights Cancer Night over the past two seasons. The donation was made in memory of former Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment employee Dean Brzuskiewicz, who died following a courageous battle with cancer in 2020 at 37. To honor Dean’s memory,  Devils’ legend and three-time Stanley Cup champion Ken Daneyko joined Mary Ellen Clyne, president and CEO of Clara Maass Medical Center and others for a special plaque dedication. The newly renovated center will provide cancer patients with the resources needed to help them through their treatments while at Clara. Seen here are, from left, Katie Brzuskiewicz (Dean’s widow) and Cody Brzuskiewicz (Dean’s son) with Daneyko and Clyne.
