WMS student artwork on display at Kearny Bank in Harrison

In recognition of New Jersey’s Youth Art Month, students from Harrison’s Washington Middle School were treated to a gallery-style reception at the Kearny Bank branch at 534 Harrison Ave. Student artwork has been hanging in their lobby area, much to customers’ delight. Under the direction of art teacher Laura Comppen, students created oversized mixed media animal portraits. Students are seen here at the bank along with Principal Mike Landy.
