Lyndhurst Girls Association hosts Valentine’s fundraiser

During a recent Valentine’s Day Fundraiser for the Libbie Lindsay Little House (home to the Lyndhurst Girl Scouts), attended by over 150 guests, Lyndhurst Mayor Robert B. Giangeruso, center, was acknowledged for his 10 years of support for the Libbie Lindsay Little House and the Lyndhurst Girl Scouts. Commissioner Louis DeMarco, the Italian-American Club of Lyndhurst, the Lyndhurst Knights of Columbus and the Lyndhurst American Legion were also acknowledged for their support. The Girl Scout leaders and moms supplied and prepared all the hot foods, and the Girl Scouts themselves served each table. The event’s 50/50 raised $1,450, and the winner, Jeff Greenberg, generously donated his entire share ($725) back in support of the event. To become a Lyndhurst Girl Scout, girls in grades K-12 may send an email to LyndhurstNJGirlScouts@gmail.com.
