Anthony P. Vainieri Jr., who represents all of North Bergen on the Hudson County Board of Commissioners, was re-elected its chairman for the sixth consecutive year.
Anthony L. Romano, who represents all of Hoboken and a part of Jersey City, was re-elected vice chairman.
And Jerry Walker, who represents parts of Jersey City, was elected chairman pro-tempore.
Walker was designated as voting member of the board to attend all meetings and conferences of the New Jersey Association of Counties in 2022. Commissioner Yraida Aponte-Lipski, who represents parts of Jersey City, was designated a second alternate voting member. Hudson County Administrator Abe Antun was designated alternate voting member.
