Lt. John Taylor’s final day on the job

Kearny Police Lt. John Taylor’s last day on the job, before official retirement, is today and this morning, Carol Manley organized a celebration for him outside police headquarters. We’ll have a recap of Taylor’s career in an upcoming edition of The Observer, but in the meantime, we salute Lt. Taylor for his tremendous 25+ year career and wish him all the best in retirement. Sgt. Dave Rakowski, seen below at left with Taylor, will become the new commander of the KPD’s traffic bureau.
