Washington Middle School student places sixth in state Elks’ essay contest

Several students from Harrison participated in the Elks’ Americanism Essay contest for middle schoolers. The first-, second- and third-place winners were sent to the district, where Christopher Olmedo was sent to the state and was picked sixth in all of Jersey.
