Police presence at Vermella on Bergen Avenue today caused by an EDP report: Police

If you saw police commotion today at around 2 p.m. at Vermella on Bergen Avenue in Kearny, it was because police say they were called to the apartments on an emotionally disturbed person incident. There were no injuries and the person whose actions prompted the call immediately cooperated with the orders given by them by the Kearny Police Department. That person voluntarily went to a local hospital for evaluation. Nothing further.
